The principals of Frontend Solutions are Jim Gillespie and
Eva Pidgeon. They bring together many years of experience and the skills required to
develop successful websites. Frontend Solutions will operate with a low overhead
which will alow them to offer very competitive consultancy rates.
Jim Gillespie BA Environmental Design
With over 25 years experience in the industry, Jim formerly operated a business
involved with information gathering, database construction, research and
publishing projects for government and private clients.
With increased emphasis on the Internet as a media for the dissemination of
information, greater use of non-paper based transactions, and the adoption of
XML technologies, he has identified a range of information handling needs that
can be met by his skills.
Jim's professional design qualifications combined with a life-long personal
interest in art bring an added dimension to information design projects.
He is particularly interested in creating programmed solutions for the Internet
and favours PHP, JavaScript and XSLT as his development languages.
Eva Pidgeon BA Hons Human Sciences, Master of Communication (Internet)
Eva has worked in the public and private sectors in the fields of marketing,
publications, information management and website development and maintenance.
She has over 10 years practical experience of developing and maintaining the
frontend of large and small websites, using a variety of common software
applications and content management systems. Eva’s areas of interest are in
information design in its many forms, particularly in online communications, and
the importance of ethical and sustainable business practices. Her current focus
is on evaluation of online information needs for small to medium sized business and
community organisations, and relating website content directly to strategic or
business goals.
